Pentalog revises upwards by 4 points the rate of increase of its 1st quarter
sales figure to 24%. In the 2nd quarter, the group predicts a 24% increase
as well, and foresees a slight acceleration of increase in the 3rd and 4th
quarters. These figures remain below the objective foreseen for the entire
year but they indicate the commercial strength of Pentalog Group. They
reinforce Pentalog's no. 1 position of the nearshore sector in France. The
sales figure increase in Germany is slightly above expectations. Romanian
local sales, affected by the end of a major operation, have somewhat
decreased, but they are supported by a first signature with Ubisoft group in
Bucharest. Pentalog Group could aim for a European nearshore top three
position by the end of 2011. Offshore production in Vietnam is stable and
the first embedded development operations could start soon, in order to
support Romanian sites.
The 2nd quarter of 2010 marks a record as regards new contracts, with a
total amount of contracts signed approaching €15 million. The total back log
reaches approximately 2 years in sales figures. In this context, the number
of collaborators has surpassed the 500 milestone in April, two months in
advance, and current affairs enable us to predict that we will reach the
number of 600 people by the end of December 2010.
The Pentalog Israel branch, set up at Tel Aviv, was launched during the 2nd
quarter, i.e. only 6 months after Frédéric Lasnier's visit to the country.
For the time being, it does not contribute to the group's sales. However,
interesting opportunities for collaboration have been identified which could
generate sales in the following quarters.
