High Tech announced the creation of a 50/50 subsidiary
with the French group "AUSY", which
is going to be run by Frédéric Lasnier:
Pentalog Technology, a venture by
AUSY & Pentalog.
The headquarters of Pentalog Technology are located
in Brasov, Romania.
This joint-venture is the continuity of a one-year
partnership between Pentalog High Tech and AUSY.
Pentalog Technology's offer will enable its clients
to achieve two different goals:
- cutting R&D costs: outsourcing
of local teams,
- optimizing the ROI: offshore
leverage allowing a contractor to increase his
resources and thus to improve his time-to-market
within the same budget as the local-one.
Pentalog was seduced by the prestigious industrial
references AUSY has cumulated over the past 15
years, including some of the biggest French companies
such as: Alcatel, EADS, France Télécom,
Philips, Sagem, Siemens, Thalès, etc.
The expertise of AUSY's 1 300 collaborators with
19 offices in France, Belgium and Luxemburg will
reinforce the strengths of the new entity in terms
of methodology.
For AUSY, the creation of this joint-venture
puts the group's offshore offer in a concrete
form and brings answers to the demands of its
customers in the industrial and tertiary sectors.
Pentalog proposes a "design to cost"
model which not only relies on labour
costs.
Pentalog's "head-office" is located
on the web: www.pentalog.com,
which gives access to all important information
about the company (CVs, estimates, client account
management, job applications, etc.). The main
activities of an IT services company (recruitment
and sales) are converted into e-business processes.
Pentalog positions itself as a European
and multilingual company.
The 100 collaborators of Pentalog's are polyglot,
90% of them speak English and French (both mandatory
for recruitment) as well as additional languages
including German, Romanian, Russian, Spanish,
etc. 40% of them are real trilinguals and 20%
speak between 4 and 6 languages.
Over 40% of the total turnover is generated on
an international level.
Pentalog's clients are supported by 6 offices:
Orléans, Paris, Bordeaux (France), Bucharest
and Brasov (Romania) and Chisinau (Republic of
Moldova).
In addition, Pentalog benefits from high standard
technical infrastructures and IP telephony
in all its offices. Last but not least, the high-powered
datacenter (backed up outside) of 100MB overrides
most of the systems of Pentalog's clients and
constitutes an additional advantage for the security
of the projects and of the clients' activities.
