Session 4: Clean Code – Protecting the Domain

About this PentaBAR Event

The goal of software architecture should be to simplify the most complex parts of your logic. While it is difficult to always anticipate where the complexity of your application will accumulate, how do you gradually evolve architecture without adding useless complexity up front? In final act, we are exploring a few effective clean architecture patterns and principles to implement for protecting the domain.

The session covers:

  • DTOs as enemies
  • Anti-Corruption Layer
  • Dependency Inversion Principle
  • The Modular Monolith

This PentaBAR event is part of a 4-webinar series aiming to provide an insightful presentation of Clean Code principles and patterns that are most impactful for the current day-to-day practice of a software engineer.

This session does not cover basic topics, so previous contact with Clean Code principles is essential.
